Traditional Wedding with a Modern Twist at The Doyle Las Vegas

Love, Llamas….and Late-Night Sliders

There's nothing quite like the blend of tradition and the unconventional when it comes to photographing a wedding - and Cristina and Alex’s wedding had it all! You would believe that all of the Gods in the universe were raining down tears of joy with the storm that swept through Las Vegas that day. The old saying goes that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck, and well… It was pure magic!

The day began at the elegant St. Viator Church where the couple first met. The warm, ambient lighting and the rich textures of the church's interior set the perfect tone for their exchange of vows. The reception held at The Doyle, a hidden gem in Downtown Las Vegas, was a venue I’ve been waiting to have a photoshoot. This rustic venue perfectly complemented my warm, moody and vintage photo editing style, especially on a rainy day.

But the best part about The Doyle is undoubtedly the alpacas. The furry and friendly residents became instant stars and made for some of the most endearing photo opportunities of the day. As the evening drew to a close the newlyweds busted out White Castle sliders (props to The Doyle’s outside food vendor policy!). It was the perfect dose of quirkiness and a great sendoff!

We even captured a beautiful montage video of the entire day! (Video samples below have no sound due to copyright mumbo jumbo… But our finished montage videos that get sent to you sure do!)

Cheers to Cristina and Alex, and a 'happily ever after' that never ends!

Here’s a shoutout to all vendors that made these photos really pop! THANK YOU!!
